Difference: Creativity is the ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, relationships, or the like, and to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations while invention is an act or instance of creating or producing by exercise of the imagination.
Inter-relationship: In order to invent something, you need to be creative.
